Christmas is a great time to indulge in your favourite foods. Most people have turkey with all the trimmings such as seasonal vegetables (including sprouts!), potatoes, gravy and sometimes yorkshire puddings. Other meats that people eat for Christmas dinner include chicken, goose and duck. A great vegetarian option is to cook a nut roast. For desert many people have Christmas pudding, often with brandy butter. Christmas cake may also be served. Before or after dinner Christmas crackers may be pulled. Inside of the crackers are usually a small toy, a paper hat and joke. |
